Accessibility Statement - Prefixe Design
This statement was last updated on October 22, 2025.
Prefixe Design (prefixedesign.com) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Our standard
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), the internationally recognized benchmark for digital accessibility.
-
Use semantic HTML with proper headings and landmarks.
-
Ensure sufficient color contrast and visible focus states.
-
Support full keyboard navigation (no keyboard traps).
-
Provide meaningful link text and descriptive alt text for images that convey information.
-
Avoid relying on color alone to convey meaning.
-
Use ARIA attributes thoughtfully (only where needed) to enhance assistive tech support.
-
Test with common screen reader/browser combinations and automated tools.
Forms on this website
We currently provide two forms:
-
Contact Form: collects First Name, Last Name, Email, and Message.
-
Subscribe Form: collects First Name and Email.
Accessibility measures for both forms:
-
Every field has a visible label that is programmatically associated to the input.
-
Required fields are indicated in text (not just color).
-
Inline validation messages are announced to assistive technologies (ARIA live/aria-describedby) and shown in text.
-
Error states can be reviewed and corrected without losing previously entered information.
-
Forms can be completed using only a keyboard.
-
We avoid CAPTCHAs; if anti-spam is required, we provide an accessible alternative.
If you encounter any difficulty using a form, you can contact us directly using the information below.
Third-party content & platforms
Parts of our site rely on third-party services (e.g., the website builder/e-commerce or embedded widgets). While we select partners with accessibility in mind, some third-party components may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We monitor these areas and pass issues to the vendor when found.
Technical capability
This site is designed to work with:
-
Current and previous major versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
-
Mobile browsers on iOS and Android.
-
Common assistive technologies such as VoiceOver (Safari/macOS & iOS) and NVDA (Chrome/Firefox on Windows).
Older browsers or very old operating systems may not provide the best experience.
