Classic Contemporary Bathroom Design Plan
$197.00
Classic Contemporary is one of our more "traditional" plans, built to last.
This design centers on a white double vanity with a marble countertop and dual undermount sinks. Paired arched wall mirrors with polished nickel sconces flank it on each side. The floor runs large-format Calacatta Onyx porcelain, a rich and moody marble-look tile that grounds the whole space.
The shower walls pair the same Onyx porcelain with classic honed marble subway tile. Polished chrome plumbing throughout. Optional freestanding tub and alcove drop-in tub configurations are both included.
This is a bathroom for anyone who wants the structure of classic design with a contemporary finish.
For comparison: a large primary bath renovation at this scale typically costs $20,000 - $35,000+ in contractor and design fees before materials. A full-service designer charges $5,000–$10,000 to make these selections. This plan: $197.

How Tile Quantities Are Calculated
Every tile estimate starts with a simple formula. The difference is in how accurately it's applied. Use this method to estimate your tile needs with confidence.
1. Calculate each area:
- Walls: Width x Height
- Floors: Length x Width
2. Add all tiled surfaces together: shower walls, bathroom floor, accent or niche areas.
3. Add overage to account for cuts, layout, and breakage:
- Add 10% for standard tile layouts.
- 15% for the large-format Onyx porcelain floor and shower walls
- 15% for the penny round shower floor mosaic
4. Estimate material cost: multiply your total tile quantity by the price per square foot.
Always confirm final quantities with your contractor before ordering.
